Samba, Capoeira, & Music Classes for 2009-2010
Here’s a note from Mestre Beiçola:
Hi everyone I am back from Brazil and I would like to start warming up for 2010 with a few classes in December 2009.
It’s happening right now!
Home Studio:
Beginning this Wednesday DEC. 16th and continuing every Wednesday:
6:30 pm Dança-Afro/ Samba 8:00 pm Gafieira (note: The Gafieira class will now be called “Dança de Salão” -the Brazilian name for “Ballroom Dance” – because I will be introducing other couples dances like Forró, Lambada and so on.)Sunday DEC 20th (continuing):
11:00 am Dança-Afro/ Samba 2:00 pm Percussion2:30 pm Capoeira
Private classes in Music and Dance are always available. Just ask, and we can arrange a time that fits your schedule.
Cavaquinho (Brazilian Ukulele) will only be taught in private lessons. Please call or e-mail to book a slot (please visit www.brazivedas.com for contact info and studio address).
All other classes will have a two-week break, starting back again in January. Stay tuned for an e-mail with details on the full line-up for 2010.
In the meantime, please check the website for class updates next week and begin planning your New Year’s resolutions!
I am looking forward to seeing some of you in class this week, and hopefully many more in January. I wish you all the best.
With care,
Mestre Beiçola
PS: The Friday Capoeira, dance and couple’s dance classes in Berkeley will restart in January as well – please stay tuned
Last week in review…
